The Official Brent Weeks Network

For fans of The Night Angel Trilogy and fantasy author Brent Weeks

Many characters come and go in all of the books, and I was just wondering who your favorite characters are.

Mine are Durzo and Vi.

My favorite characters are Kylar and Vi.

My favorite character was Vi, purely because of the dramatic and logical 180 she went through. In the first book, it just looked like she was nothing more than a pair of walking, talking boobs. Then through most of Shadow's Edge, she went through the whole process of questioning her morals and so on. Thus, dropping her from invincible wetboy to a vulnerable little girl.

So, I suppose I like her the best because I think she went through the most significant change in the books. I had invested in it so much that by the time the "ring rape" came along, I was very nearly standing up in my chair.

Durzo and the Ka'kari. [Yes, I do consider that little bugger to be a character.]

Close behind them is Jarl.

I'd say Kylar...but really, that's a given. And I loved Vi, especially the character developement, but Durzo, the Ka'kari, and Jarl just sort of pull up on top of her in my mind.
Jarl really represented an amazing change for all those who have been living a miserable life, to give them something, and he was a man who could give it[ahh, bad me, but my first thought after writing this was: Unlike somebody else who has similar, although more twisted, goals~].
Durzo? Well, really, do you have to ask? There are too many reasons. Pick one.
As for the Ka'kari, I think he's/she's/it's my favorite. No question. In such oportune moments, he/she/it would add his/her/its opinion and have me on the floor laughing, my side in stitches. Loved him/it/she to pieces. <33

The Ka'kari does act as a character and it is a close third.

Solon and Feir. They're just ordinary people trying to change something.I know that includes the Rabbits and Jarl, but I just don't like them as much. Maybe because they can't use/forge a kick-butt sword.

Nnnghh i had so many favorites but I guess my top ones were Durzo and Jarl.

I think Durzo is pretty self-explanatory xD Because he just kicks so much ass and he's such a bastard. But you can't help but love him.

I am a Jarl fan. I felt really terrible for what happened to him in the beginning but I think it made him into a more interesting character. He had such potential under Momma K (if you have read the first book entirely you know what I mean lol), and its too bad that what happens to him happens but he turned out to be more than others thought of him, and its those characters that I tend to appreciate and enjoy more.

I didn't 100% like Dorian until the 3rd book. Now I do. x3 ♥♥♥

And my favorite female character was Vi, but I also have a soft spot for Jenine.

gaah so many favorites. I'm trying not to give spoilers sorry 8D

Durzo and Dorian are my favorites

I was a pretty big fan of Dorian until he became the Godking. At least he managed to change back in the end. My favorite duo would have to be Kylar and Vi, especially when fighting the ferali, or maybe Kylar and Durzo. Or maybe Lantano and Logan. I thought this would be an easy thing to decide...

Durzo and Kylar together are the best because of the father son sorta ass kicking thing together and sarcasm and Durzo's garlic eating habits

And Dorian in a close 2nd along with Solon I feel so bad what happened at the end with Dorian

Then Elene and Logan.

Dorian is funny. What he did at the end with Elene and Jenine made me giggle until I fell on the floor.
