The Official Brent Weeks Network

For fans of The Night Angel Trilogy and fantasy author Brent Weeks

Hahahaha there sure were a few of them huh? My personal favorites were...

"By the great king's balls you've killed him!"
"It felt like the Sun exploding in his pants."
"Remember that time you tried to hump the bridge?"

I hope I got those word for word right. I'm letting a friend borrow my book but I think I've memorized it right. Gosh I love them! It's because of those little lines that make my friends ask "What the heck are you reading!?" They end up buying the book a day later! Hahahaha. Morbid curiosity?

"Kylar, I am your father" The Godking said, "No, I'm kidding"

Great line right there... Had me laughing while I was working and everyone thought I was crazy.

Yeaaah. This by far is my favorite part in the series. I went from: "Oh come onnnn. Don't pull a lame chiche! You've been shocking me this entire----OH. LAWL."

There are so many other parts, I could never choose just a few. That is by far my favorite, though...even though most of the lines by a certain character in the second/third novel have had me giggling. As he is my favorite little character~ <3

Xavri, of course I'm reading this! And you're welcome.

The first reader who responded to that line told me he utterly hated it... wrote me an email: "Hey, your books are great, I hated this part." Ouch.

So I'm glad that some of you thought it was funny. I wrote it, said to myself, "I can't do this, can I?" And then did it. Sometimes you just can't help yourself. :P

I did cringe a bit when reading it. In the schem of things, most of us who have heard the term used so much because of starwars are pre-programed to find it a cliche, however in the scene this book is set there was a very high possibility that Kylar was his son, I mean he was meant to have populated the place with offspring, so although it was an initial cringe, logic won out in the end. :)

I read that line, stared at it then laughed at the amazing absurdity and the amount of balls you had to write that XD

I threw the book when he said that and didn't go back to read it for..... 5 minutes (it felt like an eternity) then laughed at my stupidness lol.

Right before then he said he was Vi's father so at first I was all, "ewww they've been flirting this whole time in now this." Thankfully the godking pulled a Jk a few second later.
