Is anyone working on their own art/novel/creation - can you share?

I'm sure there are others who have dreamed of their own plots and story devices. I've always tried to keep my 'amazing' ideas to myself, so I can't ask anyone to share their best, but if you feel like giving a short glimplse into one of your own creations, please share.

Heh, for naming I just took the general gist of what I wanted to say and add remove and repalce letters i.e. decay magic became rotmakis emotional based magic - economakis

But my tale....

Is very rough right now I'll outline it...

Evil tyrant king rules with an iron foot, everything enforced by a small group of makine born gifted (or cursed) with a magic called rotmakis a dark magic that is powered by evil emotions of the user like hatred rage terror envy etc.

The king's elite makine are known as the Blood Guard people believe this is for 2 reasons because they guard the bloodline and/or because they almost litterally bathe in blood.

The Blood Guard members are all kidnapped when young at the smallest sign of showing rotmakis (if it was a mistake and they don't have it they are exicuted) and hardened with tourture, forced drugging and other sadistic and evil rituals at the kings hands inorder to bring out the worst emotions and super power the rotmakis within them.

Killing to a Bloodied One(member of the Blood Guard) is like breathing but less frequent. After murdering a house full of potential threats to the rule of the king (one man a woman and a teenage girl and an infant girl). Orcus is stopped by a strange shaman wearing dead animals draped about him. The shaman begins rambling about some God and actions and condeming almost as if he was chanting then as Orcus threatens him and closes his eyes for a moment to bring his blackfire to the surface in an enormous flex of power the shaman is gone. But for some reason the memory of the shaman will not leave Orcus as if the murmured words had meaning. That's all I can share but trust me it gets better.

But I can identify the other 4 bloodied ones :)

mastered emotion

Lucifer - The Liar(Deception) > Pride
Hades - The Sadistic(Shadow) > Terror
Set - The Poisoner(Plagues) > Hatred
Orcus - The Heartless (Blackfire) > Wrath
Loki - The Trickster(Corruption) > Gluttony

Though the base emotion is the strongest but they all feel the other 4.

i write all the time but never anything solid, alot of my basic idea's are really interesting, but i just can't hold the story i get bored of trying to keep it making sense to other people so for now i write for myself. But one day i am hoping to write properly. one idea i had was about a healer on he egde of society that is slowly drawn into the royal circle, when she unknowing helps the Queen give birth. It awful, but hey i'm young got years to improve.

i wish i could create stories as easily as some people. the closest thing ive got to that is just listening to music, creating images from the music, and trying to make it fit into an incredibly simple plot. the scenes from the songs or music is incredible, but stringing them together is the hard part :B

Umm Idk if it counts but I'm writing fan fiction about the first Warriors series by Erin Hunter. I didn't like how the main character and his best friend were only apprentices for a short period of time so I'm extending it and adding more detail.

Just joined the group and saw this thread. I've been writing fir 9 years now. Still don't have anything published, but have a few novels in the editing process. :)

started with fantasy, then urban fantasy, i've tried sci fi and mystery and historical fiction (though I don't think i'm very good with research for that genre).

If anyone is interested there is a free novel class starting the 1st. I've taken the class a few times and it's a great way to learn a lot about writing.
