Printing issues

I don't know where else to put this and i'm also wondering if I'm the only one with the Problem

But my copy of Beyond the shadows is missing chapters 43 to 50... and has two copies of 32-43
( chapter 43 is split in halfish hence the indiscrepency)
And obviously i don't konw what happends in them... or what to do

sounds similar to another printing issue I've heard of, where did you get the book? I would suggest talking to the store, see if you can get another copy. Make sure you look to see is in order before you walk out of the store. if you bought it online see what their return policy may be. They would have to report the printing error to the press I would think. I will also bring this up on the mod forum, to see if it isn't part of a larger printing problem.

Got it from a waterstones... Though i don't think i have the recipt * cries* I'll try anyway and keep you all Updated

i think it's the 4th 2009 printing

( cos it says first done in uk '08 paprerback in '08
reprinted '08 (twice), '09 (four times))

I would try taking it back without the receipt. It's obvious it's faulty and you can show the staff there that.

Brought it back to my local Waterstones (not the one it was baught at) and Asked for an exchandge showing that it was badly printed and there was no trouble^^

Hi. I seem to have similar issue. My books jumps from 392 straight to 441, continues there until 488 and jumps back to 441 once more, to continue from there on normally. I ordered my book from amazon.co.uk and as i usually order several books at a time i have unfortunately missed 30 day return date. Books ISBN is 978-1-84149-742-6 . So as i probably cant get another book from amazon (it would take couple of weeks anyway which i just cant wait - book's too exciting ;) ) can anyone perhaps just scan and e-mail me missing pages (393-440)? I hope this is not too big infringement of copyright law and i would be really grateful :D

Hi, I've got the same issue with my copy purchased from Amazon.co.uk (missing 393-440 and duplicates 441-488)

I talked to Amazon on the phone today and they've agreed to get me a refund (even though I'm past the 30 day refund period)

- however this doesn't help me before my flight to the US tomorrow morning - just hope I can pick up a copy at the airport (will be more expensive though)
