Sa'Ceurai: what do you think they look like?

ive been waitin for someone to do some form of fan art for a Sa'Ceurai, but im tired of waiting :/


i need a little help though, i dont remember them that much and i want to know where i can find any descriptions of what they look like (especially their hair) i got a general idea of something down on paper, but i dont think its gonna work.. seeing how i wanna focus on the hair lol

as i think of them their baisically a samurai type people with the strenghth of a viking and hava a hairdo similar to that of the predator with the whole braid n ring thingo, anyway the whole samurai top knot tradition is similar to sa ceuri and feir is only a giant because he is probably their equivelant of hulk

from the fighting in the third book they were depicted to me as like samurai, ie the stance and dispostion to battle as well as there armor. and the ceraun's were known for the bright red hair with strands of there foes tied in to it.

I think they look like Samurai with Red or Orange Dreadlocks with different color parts. Katana is thier weapon.. no doubt about it, its described in the book as one. Plus they kill themselfs for their own dishonor.

the mention of curved swords made me think of katanas, and the whole 'pride and honour' psychology made me think of samurais, so basically ancient japanese warriors
not to be racist, but japanese people are naturally short, so i didn't read into the short and stocky bit as dwarves, i was thinking 5"3, 5"4, something like that
there hair is described as red, but with hairs from all their enemies tied in so it would look ginger with streaks of black and brown and blond and maybe white
anyone here ever played Lost Odyssey? i'm probably wrong, but i always pictured Lantano Garuwashi as looking like the villain Gongora, but with long colourful hair

i definitely thought of samurai culture, ideals, beliefs, and looks of everything besides the actual person (samurai weapons, armor, architecture even though it isnt mentioned).
it said they had red hair, so i pictured beast gingers (not as pale, ew) with samurai stuff.

thanks for all the replies! i think if i sit down and start drawing more night angel stuff imma do this first! the last dawing i did wasnt exactly what i wanted, so maybe ill work on another one

Totally had the idea of long red hair and big muscles and a samurai sword and arcoss like one side of the head the braids would hang then work themselves into the hair as a whole at the back.
