Spoiler question about Dorian at the end of the last book. I think only the Author may know the answer.

So, how mad is Dorian at the end? Like, completely crazy and retarded like that guy that got a lobotomy in The One Who Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest? Or just a weirdo who can't control when he enters those trances? That totally sucks, I felt so bad for Dorian and it would kinda bother me to know that he's going to live the rest of his life as a crazy old vegetable, watching his true love being with another man, with both his and Kylar's kid. It's like, he's perma-friend-zoned, and also a vegetable. I'd kill myself if I had to live like that =[.

Off topic: If you ever decide to make a live-action movie, I believe I'd be the best looking Kylar ~_^. I have green AND yellow AND blue in both my eyes, and I've been doing karate for nearly a decade so I won't be all crappy when the choreographer tries to get me to do things.

I don't know how far you read, so SPOILERS COMING UP

The Wolf is confirmed to be Ezra. I may have misread, but I'm like 95% sure that's what I read a few days ago >_>. I still don't know how The Wolf created the Antechamber and why he is related to the Black Kakiri. I'm still wondering why the Kakiri itself didn't tell Kylar about the consequences, or whether or not it knew The Wolf, Jorsin, Ezra, etc. I thought Ezra created imperfect imitations of the black one, and he was born before the Black Kakiri was created, so what made him the person that brings the holder of the black kakiri back to life?

I probably should have another topic about this, but yea now all of a sudden you reminded me of something else I was trying to figure out :P.

WOW! You bring up a good point! If the black Ka'kari is older then the Wolf, then why is the wolf in the antechamber? Remember that Erza based his other Ka'kari's off the black. Crazyness!

Dorian (as either he or Solon states it, can't remember perfectly) will spend most his time looking into random places in time only to regain consciousness for a moment or two then back to the visions.

I have the same eyes too :D. I actually dressed as Kylar for Connecticon with a few minor flaws (gloves, hood, and sash didn't match the cover art) but maby I'll post pics in the future

Dorian is currently hosed - the Vir damaged his Talent and ripping the Vir out of himself damaged it worse. He cannot turn off his prophetic trance state.

It seems like a skilled enough healer could help him or that if he could have enough/long enough moments of lucidity he could heal himself but the latter is unlikely given the nature of his injuries. I would imagine he will heal to some degree over time, though it might not happen in such a way as it allows him to turn off his prophetic vision ever again.

His psyche is also likely damaged given the horrible actions he committed, and has to live with, while under the influence of the Vir - though it seems that those things had to happen ultimately in order for the world to be saved.
