...In celebration of Bryn's, Odin's, and my own debauchery across this board (I feared we all got a little excited and over-keen... you'd think we'd never been on a forum before), I have created this topic.

Yeah, been following that story pretty closely - to be perfectly honest with you, me and mine find the Galaxy a bit of a joke, really, in fact the whole MLS rather turns us off a bit. Out of about 10 games, only one was of decent quality that we've seen. We've watched a few different teams play, Real Salt Lake, Colorado Rapids, Houston Dynamo, New England Revolution, DC United, and of course the hilarious LA Galaxy.

That's just the opinion of a couple of Aussies, though. I have come across people over here who quite like the MLS. And let's face it, any football is better than no football at all. :)

Beckham really does need to move, his stint with Milan is proving he's DEFINATELY still got it. Galaxy could make a bit of money on their investment here - it's won't be good for Becks or the Galaxy if they keep him.

I hope that the additional teams you lot are getting over there (I believe Seattle is definately on, and Philadelphia as well?) will add to the competition - it's certainly looking good for our little league in Australia (we've got two new teams kicking off next season, North Queensland Fury and Gold Coast Utd), so should be a good theory for the MLS also. :)

Bryn, in regard to the Ao joke - Be afraid, mortal, for thou knowest that Ao is just a corruption of the Faerunian spelling for DM. And as the DM, it is a vengeful, wrathful, spiteful god.... who likes pizza, and has much Mountain Dew.
