AHHH Ajahli

Wow hello~

Erf... so formalities first I guess.

HI I'M AJAHLI. I draw comics and write things :B~ *unprofessional*

I went to MCAD and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Comic Art. I like to draw but I also love to read good books and disappear into other worlds.

I like anime and manga but I'm picky. :)

I live on the internet.

I have writing? maybe?

Erm umm *cough*

People have been asking me about my writing and stuff and since my website has a lack thereof... I am working on a novel right now.. two actually but one I am trying to get finished and published since I'm so far along.

I don't want to post it here where it is so readily available but I have a secret blog... if anyone is genuine in wanting to read/edit and won't steal anything I can share it... but I'm very... picky... about what I post and where.

So umm yeah I dunno. I alread… Continue

wooo wtg Yen Press

So I picked up the January issue of Yen Press, a Korean/Japanese manga anthology that comes out once a month. I've been picking them up since October and ever since an ad from Orbit for the Night Angel Trilogy is on the first page, full color, all three books.

It's kinda neat~

~kind of having a gloomy night so forgive me for not elaborating...

Blog woes

So due to some unfortunate events I have to close my website blog and redo my website (again). I won't give you all of the details because I might get into trouble for it but a family member recently had her site hacked and so everyone has been nervous about my blog having personal stuff on it and whatnot so, I will be using my blogspot to post art and updates instead of just sketches like I had before.

So, check back in a few days to see the new site. It's hard trying to be personal yet profes… Continue

I did not read that...

OH GOD. I am posting a blog here. Ahaha~ *nervous shuffling*

So am I the only one here who has not read George R Martin or Robert Jordan?? Okay I admit I read half way through the first Wheel of Time book and got bored. I don't read Tolkien because I don't know what he is saying half the time. Except I started reading the Hobbit and loved it but had to stop because school crawled into my soul and ate me from the inside out. (Not kidding there). I grew up reading Charles Dickens, Jack London, Ta… Continue

Grim reaper school eh? ive only seen a graphic novel/manga concept once before and that was Death Jr. Deathnote was good however Light wasn't as powerfull as I thougt he would turn out at volume 1. Code Geass is my favorite Anime for the power the protagonist gains I guess. Powerfull characters give kids like me something to look up to and worship. lol spiderman just poped into my head there. Question: do you actually have a job working with Animes/mangas/graphic novels cause that would be sick?

I've looked at the sff online workshop before and would so love to join, but never have the money to do so. So I have a few free online groups, the novel club, via fmwriters.com another group there and DII http://www.dreaminginink.com/main.php that are great groups to belong to.

*Gasp* You went out of TOWN??? lol, how dare you... =P Of course, I wasn't around much this last weekend and few days plus *Double Gasp* How was your weekend, btw? Steelers won...GRRRRR!!!

Tennessee eh. Sweet! I love California, but sometimes it can be too much. People here are pretty individual and can have attitudes. Life is much more fast paced than I've seen in other states, save perhaps Maryland aka Washington DC. I'm in Northern Cali. Lots of pretty scenery...mountains and lakes, etc. There is a lot to do here. I think you'd really enjoy a visit. So give a holla when you do!

What do u have to say about Tennessee?

A word that best describes me no doubt is "loyalty." Once a friend of mine, you are a neeg4life! I try to emulate chivalry as best as I can =)

So tell me about your weekend absence...or is that p-r-i-v-a-t-e ? lol
