Time to Face the facts (intro to chapter one of my novel)

So I'm new to this whole site and blogging so i figure i would give this whole let people read some of my novel and see what they think. Good feedback and changes i would need to make would be much appreciative. Its a fantasy novel but more in modern times...but not really too haha it goes through alot of changes and well this is the beginning. Thank you and Enjoy.

Hehehe, thanks - used to watch my stepdad play it, then tried it myself and then we got this DVD that was umm....Final Fantasy 7 I think....possibly....lol. Well I thought those were the people from the film anyway :)
