She looked out of the window. The suns final rays were hitting the soft clouds, creating a beautiful orange glow. Yet she despised it. Sunset brought not only dark to her eyes, but a curse more powerful, painful, and frightning than anything she'd ever experienced before.
Behind her, Drake laughed maliciously.
"I told you never to go against me, my love. You put this upon yourself." he decalred.
She spun around, furious.
"Don't say that. Don't call me that! You lost the right to call me that long ago! You lost that right the day you kicked me out, and put this upon me! I did nothing to anger you."
"Nothing? We were betrothed, and you bedded Victor!"
"You only wished to marry me for my wealth, not my heart. I thought, at first, you were a kind person, who loved me, but I was obviously wrong. And I was not the only one with lovers." She turned away, to look out of the window once more. "I don't want to argue with you anymore; this has gone on for far too long."
"If you think," he said, closing in on her with lengthy strides, grabbing her arm, "that I will relieve you of your current state, you are wrong. I love to watch you squirm." He flung her around, and pressed his body up against her, whispering in her ear. "I love you yet, and if I can not have you, no one will. The day you marry me, is the day you will stop turning into a beast after sunset!" He kissed her fiercely, and she could do nothing. The sun had finally disappeared below the horizon, giving way to the dark of night, and the moonlight. Her body went stiff, and she stood, immobile. Her back went rigid. Her eyes turned yellow, and her pupils became small black slits. Drake, laughing to himself cruelly, turned around and walked out of the door. As he closed the door, he heard an aguished scream, a tear, and, after a long pause, a low, deep, vengeful growl...
