Pariah - Birth of a Land

The Land that is now named Pariah, wasn't always the populated land that it is now. Many hundreds of years ago it was an isolated body of land, inhabited only by creatures; Dragons, Werebeast, Darklings, and many monstrous magical creatures. The land was a malignant place, to dangerous for any form of civilization to exist. And for that reason alone, it was used to exile many of Terra Firma's mischief's.

Terra Firma is a large mainland consisting of many inhabited Lands, full of people. However in every batch of eggs, there's some that are not 'alright'. At first these 'bad-eggs' were of no concern to anybody, since they were to small to notice. Nonetheless this small, and unattended problem soon became a much bigger, much dangerous problem that definitely needed some attending to.

At an attempt to prevent an all out war in Terra Firma, the Ruler at the time speculated a way to rid his Lands of such a treat. After much deliberating, he decided on a fitting judgment for all who deserved it. A law was made; "By order of the Magnate, All whom are willing to disrupt the laws of this Land. Are willing to spend the rest of their lives in exile. Northland shall become your new Homeland". Northland was the name given by to the Land up north, were no man will intentionally lay ship to.

Northland was soon inhabited with a new kind of animal, Humankind. On the other hand, the creatures already inhabiting this Land, saw a new source of food. Do to humankind's inability to extinct, they would have been slaughtered. If it wasn't for humankind's natural born desire to survive, all who were sent to Northland would have been annihilated, which was Terra Firma's intention.

To protect themselves from an undeniable onslaught, the people exiled to Northland banded together to confront the omnipotent threat. Some used their brute strength to overpower those they could, others used their bestowed ability to use magic to subdue the rest. After much fighting for survival for many years, the humans were now the one who controlled Northland. All the same, humans are still humans by nature.

Not much later, after the 'Rise of Man' in Northland, the people of Northland starting battling for supremacy. The Country was overran by civil war. The Barbarians, who had superior tactical ability, and were able to use their mighty strength, resided to the north. To the south were the Cassters, who's magical abilities made up for their numbers. Their fighting lasted for hundreds of years, until one man decided to stop the insanity.

This man was known as, Tale Do, his name meant 'peacemaker'. Tale Do was a very powerful Warlord, feared by both the Barbarians and Cassters. Tired of all the fighting, he appointed himself King , and divided Northland between the strongest clans and tribes. He named his new Country, Pariah.

Eventually Tale Do passed and left his seat to his predecessor. This happened through decades of generations, a hundred years worth. Soon after, the throne to Pariah was passed down to a new ruler, Thomas Daeh. With Thomas Daeh taking his place as King of Pariah, the Reign of Daeh began. And it continues till this day, with his descendant William, whom is the current King of Pariah.

Wow... that is a great story so far. I guess that the Rise of Man would be a great name for a "chapter" in this saga or Pariah...
